yard sale fun!

 Today my 4 year-old son, Braden, and I went treasure hunting at yard sales. Yard sales are fantastic places to find things to be used for crafting. I got lucky and found about 15 assorted picture frames that I can use. I also found a whole bag of glass beads and random pendants. Braden found a few toys. :) It was also great mother-son time. I learned his new favorite color is blue, his favorite animal is the giraffe, and he's very good at directions! The morning was an overall success!!! Now it's time to create!!

Beginning my journey from server to sensational

  We had almost a week of rain recently and I spent that time crafting and baking with my sons. I've been busy, busy, busy creating fabulous picture frames and gorgeous jewelry. I think it's a great way to help your children use their imaginations. I helped my 4 year old son make beaded bracelets. I could actually see his dexterity improving before my eyes. He also helped me count the number of beads he was using. I'm always looking for ways to make learning fun. Look for pictures of our rainy day activities. I also made a delicious flower birthday cake for a friend. I included a photo.
 I also want to thank my fabulous friend, Molly, for helping me create this blog and for lighting a fire under my butt. :) You're amazing!!!
